Ole Miss football signee faces DUI charge
BATESVILLE — Heralded Ole Miss football signee Darius “Tig” Barksdale was arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly stealing a car, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license.
Barksdale, who was The Clarion-Ledger’s Mr. Football selection in 2007, was charged with DUI and driving without a license and posted bond on Thursday afternoon. Charges of grand larceny for allegedly stealing the car were not pursued at the victim’s request.
