SN counts down college football’s Top 100
Sporting News crosses into the upper half of its college football top 100 countdown with expanded previews each day until the season kicks off Sept. 3.
A sampling of our top 50 morsels:
The Big Ten landed just two teams in the top 25 and the Big East had none, but both leagues took five spots in the second 25.
The SEC and ACC have eight teams apiece.
First up is Minnesota at No. 50. But Gophers defensive Garrett Brown didn’t appreciate that spot.
