Dear Bill:
I read with great interest your recent article about Chip Pickering’s transgressions. While you are correct that his alleged actions rightly bring shame to him, you have never seemed to publicly acknowledge your son’s behavior and the shame it should rightly bring on him and the entire legal community in Mississippi. In fact, you have continued to publicly defend your son at all costs even after he and his co-conspirators were found guilty by a jury of their peers.
Since you seemed interested in wallowing in the minutea of bad behavior, I put this information out there for your review.
For you to assert moral clarity with such smugness on how Pickering has betrayed his constituency is ironic to say the least. My advice? Get out of the glass house before hurling stones.
Sincerely,
YallPolitics
P.S. Have a nice day.
