HOOVER, Ala. — What will Dan Mullen’s version of the spread offense look like at Mississippi State this season?
Fans in Starkville might want to pull out some tape from Mullen’s last year at Utah before he left for Florida with Urban Meyer.

With 235-pound running back Anthony Dixon being the most proven commodity for the Bulldogs on offense and a lack of experience at the receiver position, Mullen concedes that Mississippi State’s offense this season might look a lot more like Utah’s in 2004 than Florida’s in either of the last two seasons.
