For a man whose hobby is following the rise and fall of stocks, the Major League Baseball draft, which begins today, is a pretty easy fit for one of Mississippi State coach John Cohen’s analogies.
“It’s the stock market,” Cohen said. “That’s exactly what it is. And I hate to say it, because you really establish relationships with the kid – that’s what makes it different. But it’s like the stock market: GM goes down, Ford strengthens. As soon as you lose one kid, it makes the other kid that much more of a priority to you.”
