Lewis, Yarber ahead in Jackson Ward 6
With all precincts reporting, Marshall Elementary School principal Tony Yarber and Jackson’s former Community Improvement Division director Joe Lewis appear to be heading into a May 19 runoff in Ward 6.
Yarber received about 21 percent of the vote, followed by Lewis with 20.6 percent.
