Forrest County principal among alleged ‘johns’
An elementary school principal from Forrest County is among 24 people arrested in an undercover sting targeting prostitutes and “johns,” the term for those who solicit business for prostitutes.
Public records show Christopher Furdge, 38, of Petal, is principal of Earl Travillion Attendance Center in Hattiesburg. He’s among 15 men accused of soliciting prostitution in a three-day sting.
Police Chief Alan Weatherford said the sting resulted in 24 arrests that include six “street-level prostitutes” accused of soliciting an undercover officer posing as a “john.”
