Coach talking to Kentucky? Why wouldn’t he?
So much for the idea that Memphis is where John Calipari wants to coach, eh?
He’s interested in talking to Kentucky.
He could meet with Kentucky officials as early as today.
“Not definite,” is what a source close to the situation texted The Commercial Appeal, when asked about a CBSSports.com report that Calipari would meet with Kentucky athletic director Mitch Barnhart as early as today.
Which is a good deal different than Friday’s news, isn’t it?
Then: “Memphis is where I want to coach.”
Now: “Not definite.”
This is not trending well for Memphis fans.
