Robert Johnson attacks city leaders on political yard sign placement

By: Magnolia Tribune - March 25, 2009

Jackson Democratic Mayoral Candidate Robert Johnson issued the following statement regarding the current administrations zeal for removal of campaign signs:

“As is typical of this administration, there seems to be no rhyme or reason for some of its actions. I noticed an absence of a number of political yard signs throughout much of the city. It seems that the city attacked this ‘problem’ of political yard signs with zeal and enthusiasm. However, most of the areas where these signs were picked up continue to have garbage, trash and debris scattered along the streets. Perhaps if the city and its leaders made the same effort to clean this mess up the city would look a whole lot better. But what can you expect from the city’s leadership these days.”
