GREENSBORO – The home team may look the part, but LSU is up to the task. At least, they’ve got me fooled after day one in Greensboro, one of the NCAA’s regional sites.

North Carolina’s the top seed in this bracket and they certainly have the home court advantage since the ‘Boro’ is less than 90 minutes from their Chapel Hill campus.

But, LSU’s quickly warmed up to the locals. And they know their basketball. The Tigers took the court Wednesday brimming with the kind of confidence not usually found in a team that’s lost three of its last four games. But, head coach Trent Johnson has them focused on what lies ahead and not on what’s taken place prior to their arrival in North Carolina. In fact, Johnson believes it’s his job to make sure his team gets back on track.
