Mal Moore: “Extremely confident” about pending hoops hire
As he is prone to doing from time to time, athletics director Mal Moore has dropped an e-mail to students, alumni, boosters and others in the UA fold.
Today’s edition (read below for full text and a few other items) addresses a range of topics, including football stadium expansion, the softball team attaining a No. 1 ranking and this year’s “Cruisin’ with the Tide” event.
He also offers a brief mention of the basketball coaching search …
“We feel extremely confident that we will be able to hire a candidate who will elevate our program back to the top tier of the Southeastern Conference. From the outset of the process, I’ve stated our expressed goal has been to hire the best individual for our University and we feel we will do just that.”
