BRAD LOCKE:In a year that’s all about change, is Starkville next?
OXFORD – Something has to change. There is no other reasonable course of action for Mississippi State.
Friday’s 45-0 trouncing at the hands of Ole Miss underscored the need for MSU to try something different.
Maybe coach Sylvester Croom needs to go, maybe one or more of his assistants needs to go, maybe the offense he runs needs to go.
Or maybe he just needs to be a better coach.
Heck, I’m just a writer. Not my job to figure out what that change should be, but it is the media’s job to ask the question.
After the game, Croom was asked when he will meet with his coaching staff to discuss possible changes.
“Well, I’ll look at that stuff when I get back,” he said.
