These three coaches stand out in what has been a tough season for some of the most accomplished headset-wearers in the SEC.
Tennessee already has decided to part ways with Phillip Fulmer, whose team could be headed toward eight losses in a season for the first time in school history. Auburn soon could do the same with Tommy Tuberville, who’ll notch his first losing season since 1999 if his Tigers don’t beat Alabama on Nov. 29.
And the sight of South Carolina’s Steve Spurrier being humiliated on Saturday by his former team makes one wonder just how much longer the Ol’ Ball Coach would want to subject himself to this.
