Manning Must Prepare for a Difficult Homestretch
One of the wonders of the current N.F.L. season is that halfway through, the Giants — the defending Super Bowl champions — continue to fly under the radar. It is as if the Giants’ run to the Super Bowl is being seen as a lucky run — a hot streak — that the team won’t be able to duplicate. After Sunday’s 36-31 victory here against the Eagles, the Giants’ days of flying under the radar are probably over. The Giants have now won eight of nine games. With the exception of a misstep against Cleveland in Week 6, the Giants had repeatedly faced doubters and answered questions. Yet the doubts and, to some extent, the questions persist.
