The state of Mississippi has one of the most unique streaks in college football.
For six straight years, a Magnolia State school has played in a bowl game.
The Big 3- Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss- are all in danger of snapping the streak this season.
The Sun Herald projects what direction the Rebels, Bulldogs and Golden Eagles will take recruiting in-state prep players on National Signing Day in February.
“This could be down a year,” said Steve Robertson, who covers Mississippi recruiting for Scout.com. “But if State can manage some offense they have a manageable second half. They have to win four of five. I think USM is just in transition, but that Rice loss was huge.”
