Ole Miss counting on Greg Hardy
OXFORD, Miss. — As Ole Miss heads into its first Southeastern Conference game Saturday against Vanderbilt, coach Houston Nutt would love to have defensive end Greg Hardy suited up for every snap as the Rebels look to contain elusive Commodores quarterback Chris Nickson.
But he’ll settle for the next best thing, which is just having the former Briarcrest Christian star available for spot duty. After missing the Rebels’ first two games while recovering from August surgery on a stress fracture in his right foot, Hardy worked out with the Rebels for the first time Sunday as the team went through drill work.
