Giants Win on the Road, Again

ST. LOUIS — The competition for the Giants will no doubt improve as the season grinds on. Perhaps Giants fans who are concerned about their chances to repeat as Super Bowl champions can worry just a little about how the Giants led by only 7 points in the fourth quarter against a team as woeful as the Rams (0-2).
Other than that, there wasn’t much to fret about for the Giants as they dismantled the St. Louis Rams, 41-13, on Sunday for their 12th consecutive victory on the road. Eli Manning, the Giants quarterback, threw three touchdown passes — one each to Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer and Ahmad Bradshaw. Manning completed 20 of 29 attempts for 260 yards.
The running game was effective as well as Brandon Jacobs rushed for 93 yards on 15 carries and Derrick Ward gained 58. Even a defensive end, Justin Tuck, scored a touchdown on an interception return.
