Madison Co. recognized for clean audit
The state Auditor’s Office has recognized Madison County officials for maintaining “high standards of financial management.”
State Auditor Stacey Pickering presented county supervisors with a certificate that recognizes the county for having a problem-free audit for the year ending in September 2006.
“I just wish more counties would follow the example Madison County has set,” Pickering said.
