In the pre-Internet era, football magazines were always a treat because it signaled that the season was near.
Today, of course, we get football 365 days a year and there doesn’t seem to be a real start or end to the season.
In any case, I still enjoy the preseason magazines and I wanted to share some of the tidbits from Phil Steele’s 2008 College Football Preview.
