Don’t hang it up, Coach: Take five – Pat Casey

T he discussion shouldn’t be about whether the Oregon State baseball team got snubbed or jilted, or maybe that it got exactly what it had coming when it wasn’t included in the NCAA tournament field Monday.
When it comes to Beavers baseball, the topic between now and next season has to be unfinished business. Because even as coach Pat Casey has coached 14 seasons in Corvallis and has two national titles, they’re about to start playing college baseball again in Eugene, and I suspect we’re about to enter an epic period in state college baseball history.
Casey needs to be part of that.
