A day in court I wish we could see

At 9 AM, Judge Michael Mills is to convene a Daubert hearing in U.S. v. Moultrie, the beef plant case. Last month Jane gave us an excellent backgrounder of this hearing here. In short, it promises a fascinating duel over points of law and science.

As I try to figure out how to open some PACER stuff that Alyssa just sent, I’m hoping that, between it and the DJournal and/or Eagle coverage, we’ll get a good picture of what goes on today. But boy how I wish we could see NMC in action for Robert Moultrie first-hand, don’t you?

I’ll update this post ASAP with what I understand is his motion requesting today’s hearing and the order granting it.
