Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Ronnie Musgrove has a long way to go to catch up financially with his Republican rival, interim Sen. Roger Wicker.
Federal Election Commission reports show Musgrove raised nearly $450,000 from January through March for his campaign to replace Trent Lott, who retired suddenly in November.
That total pales in comparison to Wicker’s more than $3 million in contributions for the same period.
