YP – Hood’s testimony to US House Committee re: prosecution of State Farm

By: Magnolia Tribune - February 27, 2008

Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood has given now several reasons why he did not indict State Farm.

He has had two times where he testified under oath as to the circumstances of his prosecutorial decisions regarding State Farm – one in Natchez as the defendant in State Farm v. Hood. That case ultimately settled. The other was in the US House.

On February 28, 2007, Jim Hood testified to the US House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. That testimony is here. It would be an interesting project for someone to compare and contrast the two.
