Last day to sign up for the primary

Today is the last day local circuit clerks can register you to vote in the March 11 primaries.

Walk-in registrations will be accepted until 5 p.m. at county courthouses across South Mississippi. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked by Saturday.

Three races are on both the Republican and Democratic primary ballots: president, U.S. senator and U.S. representative in the Fourth Congressional District.
