All hell breaks loose in Oxford – State Farm v. Hood

By: Magnolia Tribune - February 5, 2008

As it always happens, I leave the office for an hour and all hell breaks loose.

Hattip to FOLO for their reporting.

Lawyers for State Farm and Dickie Scruggs exchanged emails fast and furious over the weekend. They can be found here inside of an affidavit by State Farm attorney Barney Robinson. Apparently, Scruggs’ lawyers are extremely scared of this testimony for their client.

Robinson, on behalf of State Farm, filed an Emergency Motion this morning to clarify the intent of Judge Mills’ order on Friday. Scruggs’ attorneys subsequently filed a Motion of Opposition.

It is interesting stuff and required reading for the YallPolitics Nation.
