Report: Langston Pleads Guilty In Separate Scruggs Case

If a report in yesterday’s Jackson Clarion-Ledger pans out, more bad news could well be on the way for Dickie Scruggs. And soon.

According to the paper, Joey Langston (pictured) has pleaded guilty to a charge relating to an attempt to illegally influence a Mississippi judge, Bobby DeLaughter. Sources tell the Law Blog that the guilty plea is likely to be unsealed on Monday in federal court in Oxford, Miss.
