Hosemann Campaign reports $318,009.00 raised for November 6th General
Election
Hosemann shows broad support among Republicans, Democrats and
Independents
FLOWOOD – – Filing for the period ending on September 30, 2007 the
Delbert Hosemann for Secretary of State Campaign posted a periodic
campaign finance report showing $318,009.00 dollars raised for the
November 6th general election and $276,640.00 dollars cash on hand.
The strength of Delbert Hosemann’s fundraising demonstrates the broad
base of support from Republicans, Democrats and Independents that our
campaign has built since the August primary election. Further proof
that Delbert’s positive message of responsible election reform which
will empower and secure the rights of Mississippi’s voters resonates
strongly from Southaven to Pascagoula.
“Lynn and I are humbled by the overwhelming outpouring of personal and
financial support for our campaign from across Mississippi. Every day
we are thankful that hardworking Mississippians trust, support and
believe in our campaign to clean up Mississippi Elections, pass
meaningful and constitutional Voter ID, fairly manage the public land
that funds our schools, and make Mississippi a more friendly place to
start and maintain a small business,” said Hosemann.
“Delbert’s strength in fundraising lies in his ability to communicate a
sound and sensible vision for the future of Mississippi to prospective
supporters. Delbert is clearly the most qualified candidate for the
job, and also enjoys a great record, reputation and respect among
community, government and business leaders alike. Our fundraising
success is a strong testament to the reception Delbert is receiving on
the campaign trail. Mississippians are tremendous at sizing up a man’s
character, and their willingness to invest in our campaign indicates a
widespread belief that Delbert Hosemann will be a strong and steady hand
for the people as Secretary of State,” said campaign manager, Casey
Phillips.
