Looking tanned and relaxed and having regained his health, Ben Allen said leading Downtown Jackson Partners will be the perfect full-time gig.
The organization’s board Monday afternoon chose Allen, 56, to succeed John Lawrence as president. Allen cited health concerns in June when he stepped down from the Jackson City Council during his third term.
“There’s Farish Street, the two-waying of Capitol Street, taking the arms off Pinnacle’s parking garage – there’s a ton of stuff to do.”
