Democratic lieutenant governor nominee Jamie Franks had no qualms Wednesday when it came to criticizing both his Republican opponent, state Auditor Phil Bryant, and Gov. Haley Barbour.
“I will not be a rubber stamp,” Franks told the Hattiesburg American Editorial Board. “Over the last four years, the state Senate has basically written Gov. Barbour a blank check.”
