Gov. Haley Barbour is generally believed to be on a cakewalk back to the Mansion.
As Jim Eastland used to say, he has enough money to burn a wet boat. He also has had four years to fine tune a statewide organization with all of the power and patronage inherent in office.
And, most of all, he has weak opposition. So, cakewalk, right?
Maybe not.
