Todd Brand of Meridian, who is vying for the Democratic nomination for auditor, said Monday he believes automated phone calls from an unknown source might have influenced his election and others in the Democratic primary.
Brand finished second to Mike Sumrall of Mt. Olive in a three-candidate race Aug. 7. The two will meet in a runoff Aug. 28.
