The Eaves for Governor campaign will host its Democratic primary celebration at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson on Tuesday, August 7. The gathering will begin after the polls close at 7 p.m.
Eaves will use the event as a launching pad for his gubernatorial bid against incumbent Gov. Haley Barbour. Eaves will continue to run a positive campaign and offer Mississippians a clear choice between himself and a governor who has continued to represent the interests of the moneychangers of big oil, big tobacco and big insurance over those of hardworking Mississippians.
