A Jackson businessman is seeking a default judgment in federal court against Mayor Frank Melton in connection with Melton’s tenure as director of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
The lawsuit from Ron Christmon is one of several lawsuits pending in both state and federal courts naming Melton as a defendant.
In 2003, Christmon, owner of Triple C Auto Body Shop, 805 W. Woodrow Wilson Ave., was charged by MBN with one count of conspiracy to commit murder in the 1998 death of Harrison Hilliard.
