A request for a protective order has been filed in Hinds County Circuit Court asking that Mayor Frank Melton not be required to answer certain questions about an incident outside a woman’s home.
Family members of Albert “Batman” Donelson allege the mayor trespassed, slandered and threatened them in April 2006 when Melton showed up on the porch of the home of his mother, Beverly Jackson, armed and shouting.
