To effectively serve as mayor, Frank Melton is going to have to resist being rude and outrageous and stay on point about issues that matter: specifically, crime and taxes.
Mayor Melton has always had difficulty keeping his mouth zipped – to his own detriment. The growing acrimony with some City Council members is making a strained relationship non-functional, which is a detriment to the entire city.
