Let’s face it, the voter identification issue really isn’t about voter ID. It’s about politics, and race, and stirring old, deep wounds for partisan purposes.
If it were just about showing a form of ID, it would have passed already. What would be the point of calling a special session other than to provide a soapbox for Ross?
