Forrest County Supervisor David Allen’s name will appear on the Democratic ballot in the Aug. 7 primary, but a hearing for would-be candidate Shawn O’Hara has been postponed pending the results of another lawsuit.
O’Hara, a Hattiesburg resident, filed suit against both the county and state branches of the party, asserting that both violated his civil rights in removing him from the ballot.
