Millsaps students to raise money, awareness of homelessness

Another group of college students plans to spend 24 hours in cardboard boxes as a way to raise money for and awareness of the homeless.

On the heels of a similar endeavor by social work students at Mississippi College last week, students from Millsaps College will take on the challenge beginning at 7 p.m. tonight.

The students from Millsaps? Circle K Chapter plan to spend 24 hours in the boxes at the Kroger on Interstate 55 north in Jackson until 7 p.m. Saturday.
