Anti-Melton Jihad

Anti-Melton Jihad

By: Magnolia Tribune - August 4, 2005

A local Jackson anti-mayoral alt+weekly has gone from a half court press of just periodical post-election grousing to an all-out anti-Melton jihad mode.

It has gone from sour grapes to a coordinated yet entirely irrelevant attack on the mayor and the city of Jackson. This all in light of an unprecendented 88% margin of victory in the general election. The publication was strong on its stance against the now-mayor in the Democratic primary and apparently has just not quite been able to let go.

In just one week come the following articles/web pages have come out . . . all decidedly slanted against the new Jackson mayor.
