Final Days of Campaigning

Final Days of Campaigning

It’s the race that has everyone talking… Tuesday’s Democratic primary election between Mayor Harvey Johnson and Frank Melton. Time is ticking and both candidates are stepping up their campaigns.

Melton asks two young kids, “You aren’t skipping school are you? ‘No’….”

There’s been lots of hugs, handshakes, and campaign promises in the last few weeks.

Neither candidate, Frank Melton nor Harvey Johnson can walk but a few steps, before getting stopped.

With Tuesday’s primary right around the corner, both candidates are working overtime.

Melton said, “I’m very excited. I’m ready to get this done. I haven’t slept in the past 2 to 3 days. I’m ready to move on. I’m confident we’ll do a good job.”

Johnson said, “We’re just very pleased to have this job. We want to fight hard to keep it.”
