Man shot in head, side in dispute at Jackson business
A man was shot twice, allegedly by a fellow employee, this morning at Anglin Tire Co., 926 I-20, Jackson police said.
The two men had been involved in an ongoing dispute for weeks over missing tools, Jackson police Cmdr. Lee Vance said. He would not identify those involved.
The shooting was reported at at 10:48 a.m., Vance said. He said the victim, who was shot in the head and side, was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center. The victim’s status is unknown.
Vance said the alleged gunman is in police custody. The weapon was a .38 caliber handgun, police said.
