Jackson officials call for control of 911 funds collected in city
“We’re the state’s largest procurer of goods and services outside of the state itself,” Jackson Mayor Harvey Johnson Jr. said last week. “We don’t need the 911 Council giving us advice on procurement. What we need is our money.”
