Herbert Burns watched as agents set up a checkpoint in his neighborhood near Lanier High School. Burns said crime has been a problem in the area since he moved in eight years ago.
Burns said he’s glad to see the officers cracking down, but he questions the motive.
“I think this is something like a front, because we’re getting closer to the election,” he said.
