For an election in which the main issue is excessive government (see Axiom One), that’s…

Mississippi & The Barbour Campaign The article was less than flattering, and even though the Y’all Politics website called it a “Hatchet Job” you can bet there’ll be plenty more of these kinds of articles generated by the national media in the weeks and months to come as Haley Barbour becomes a presidential candidate. Mississippi…

What the World Sees in America
YP NOTE – rarely do I press something non-MS politics, but Noonan’s article is pretty awesome today. Enjoy. Happy Easter/Passover. What the World Sees in America We are modern, they are not. A little justice, Mississippi-style – we got this one right
Mississippi Shows How You Handle Westboro Freaks A couple of days before, one of them (Westboro protestors) ran his mouth at a Brandon gas station and got his arse waxed. FIREMCCOY – Redistricting Gumbo: a dash of fact, a hint of rumor, and a cup full of “what ifs”
Redistricting Gumbo: a dash of fact, a hint of rumor, and a cup full of “what ifs” In a vastly conservative state like Mississippi and given the rise of the Republican Party during the Barbour years, having a redistricting plan so liberally drawn so as to protect incumbent Democratic legislators without giving any credence to…
