Schools to get kids moving

The Clarion-Ledger, 4/16/7 A newly signed law ensures that students in Mississippi public schools will exercise more and be taught how to lead healthier lives. It also means school districts across the state could have to shuffle their staffs or possibly do some hiring to meet the new requirements.

31 killed in Virginia Tech shooting; Gunman also killed

The Clarion-Ledger, 4/16/7 A gunman opened fire in a Virginia Tech dorm and then, two hours later, in a classroom across campus Monday, killing at least 30 people in the deadliest shooting rampage in U.S. history, government officials told The Associated Press. The gunman was killed, bringing the death toll to 31.
