Voters head back to polls today for runoffs

The Clarion-Ledger, 8/28/7 Mississippi voters will trickle into the polls today for the type of election most candidates dread: a runoff. Through phone calls, community gatherings and a few ads, politicians worked for three weeks to persuade supporters to return to the ballot box after participating in party primaries.
