Our Approach
The news should be the news. It should be accurate and unvarnished by bias. Magnolia Tribune, at all times, strives to live up to the highest code of journalism ethics. There is a place for opinion, but opinion should be clearly separated from news. It should be well-reasoned, evidence-based, and tested by competing thought.
We work daily to ensure that our coverage is balanced, and that the broader media ecosystem is balanced, so that people have all the facts and information necessary to make good decisions. In addition to our news and opinion sections, our business section spotlights what is happening in Mississippi’s economy and our culture section shares the best Mississippi has to offer.
Republishing Our Work
At Magnolia Tribune, we want our work to be shared by other news outlets and organizations when they think the content would be valuable to their readers or audience. The articles on our site can be republished at no cost and without special permission. All we ask is for proper attribution of both the original author and Magnolia Tribune. Because of licensing issues, if your outlet shares one of our articles, please do not share any photographs that appeared in the original publication unless otherwise requested in writing by emailing editor@magnoliatribune.com.
