Mississippi Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson joined Y’all Politics for a Facebook Live on Thursday morning where he discussed the impact COVID-19 is having on the state’s farmers and agriculture industry.
Agriculture remains the largest industry in Mississippi and is considered essential so as to maintain the food supply chain.

The Commissioner outlined the assistance programs being made available to agriculture producers through the CARES Act and the USDA.
