Trey Dellinger to step in as Chief of Staff for Speaker Gunn

Trey Dellinger has been chosen to be Chief of Staff for Speaker of the House Philip Gunn.

Dellinger has spent the majority of his adult career in private law, 17 years of which were with Wells Marble where he defended businesses and individuals from civil lawsuits. In 2015 he was selected by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of Mississippi’s top 40 attorneys for Leadership in Law.

He received his undergraduate degree in Physics, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate from University of Mississippi School of Law in 1996.

Dellinger has been active in state and community government throughout his life. He was the Government Relations Chairman for the Madison County Business League and Foundation. He also served on the boards of the Mississippi Council of Economic Education and the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce.

Most recently, he served as the State Director for the Mississippi chapter of Americans for Prosperity (AFP). He served on the Madison County Republican Executive Committee before his time with AFP.
