Brett Favre has arrived in Minnesota to rejoin the Vikings for his 20th NFL season, according to multiple reports.
Favre landed Tuesday afternoon in a private jet trimmed with purple and gold, and kicker Ryan Longwell gave him a ride from the airport to Vikings headquarters, according to The Associated Press.
Longwell was one of three Vikings player excused from training camp Tuesday to travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., in an effort to convince Favre to return for 2010. Defensive end Jared Allen and guard Steve Hutchinson also made the trip and were on the plane that brought Favre back to Minnesota.
